1. Responsible party

The responsible party under the Protection of Personal Information Act, 2013 (POPIA) is Ammacom Tech (Pty) Ltd, registration number 2017/101260/07, of Unit 10, Manhattan Office Park, 16 Pieter Street, Highveld Techno Park, Centurion, 0157, South Africa. Contact: [email protected].

2. What we collect

  • Checkout: your name, email address, phone number, company name, VAT number, and whether you want delivery or collection with the delivery address, submitted when you place an order.
  • Contact form: your name, email address, phone number, company, the grade, thickness and roll count you are asking about, and your message, submitted when you request a quote.
  • Card data: card details are entered on Yoco's payment page and processed by Yoco. We do not see or store card numbers; we receive a payment reference and a confirmation of the amount paid.
  • Cart: the rolls in your cart are stored in your browser's local storage on your device and are only sent to us when you check out.
  • Analytics and advertising: Google Analytics 4 collects usage data such as pages visited, referral source and device type. Google Ads conversion measurement runs only if you consent to advertising cookies.
  • Server logs: our hosting provider keeps standard request logs (IP address, browser, page requested) for security.

3. Why we collect it

  • To accept and fulfil your order, issue a tax invoice and arrange delivery or collection.
  • To reply to quote requests and specification questions.
  • To send order confirmations and invoices by email.
  • To understand how the site is used and improve it.

We do not sell or rent your personal information, and we do not share it with third parties for their own marketing.

4. Service providers

We share personal information only with the providers we need to run the store, and only for that purpose:

  • Yoco (South Africa): card payment processing.
  • Zoho: quotes, invoices and customer records. Your name, contact details and order details are stored in Zoho to issue and keep tax invoices.
  • Formspree (United States): delivers contact form submissions to our inbox.
  • Cloudflare (United States): website hosting and content delivery.
  • Google (United States): Google Analytics 4 and, with your consent, Google Ads conversion measurement.

5. Cross-border transfers

Some of these providers store data outside South Africa. These transfers are necessary to provide the service to you, and each provider processes it subject to their own privacy policies.

6. Legal basis

  • Contract: processing needed to fulfil your order.
  • Consent: given when you submit the contact form, and for advertising cookies through the cookie banner.
  • Legal obligation: keeping invoices and financial records as tax law requires.
  • Legitimate interest: website analytics and security logging.

7. Retention

  • Order and invoice records: for as long as tax law requires us to keep them.
  • Contact form enquiries: for as long as the enquiry is open and for a reasonable period afterwards.
  • Server logs: for as long as our hosting provider retains them for security purposes.

You may ask us to delete personal information that we are not required by law to keep by emailing [email protected].

8. Your rights

Under POPIA you may ask to access the personal information we hold about you, have it corrected or deleted, object to its processing, or withdraw consent. Email [email protected]. You may also complain to the Information Regulator of South Africa at inforegulator.org.za.

9. Cookies and local storage

The site uses a consent preference, the cart in local storage, Google Analytics cookies and, with your consent, Google Ads cookies. The cookie banner lets you change your choice at any time. Details of each cookie are in the cookie policy.

10. Security

The site is served over HTTPS. Card details never touch our servers; they are handled by Yoco on its own payment page. Access to customer records in Zoho is limited to the people who need it to process orders.

We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top of this page shows the latest revision.
