Terms of sale

These terms apply to every order placed on vulcanite.co.za. Placing an order means you accept them.

1. The seller

The seller is Ammacom Tech (Pty) Ltd, registration number 2017/101260/07, VAT number 4580295600, of Unit 10, Manhattan Office Park, 16 Pieter Street, Highveld Techno Park, Centurion, 0157, South Africa. Vulcanite and Vulcanite Armor are product brands supplied by Ammacom Tech (Pty) Ltd. Email: [email protected].

2. Prices

  • Prices are in South African Rand and include VAT at 15%. The Excl. VAT price is shown alongside.
  • Prices are per roll. The price shown in the cart at the time you pay is the price that applies.
  • Prices may change without notice, but a change does not affect an order that has already been paid.
  • Any delivery charge is shown at checkout, before you pay.

3. Orders and acceptance

  • An order is placed when you complete checkout, and accepted when we receive your payment. Our order confirmation email and tax invoice follow acceptance.
  • If a listing error means a product was shown at a wrong price or with a wrong specification, we may cancel the order before dispatch and refund you in full.
  • Orders are limited to 200 rolls per line. For larger quantities, request a written quote.

4. Payment

Card payments are processed by Yoco on its payment page. We do not receive or store your card details. Quotes issued outside the online store are paid on the terms stated on the quote.

5. Delivery and collection

  • We deliver within South Africa. Dispatch within 24 hours. Delivery within 72 hours.
  • Collection from Vulcanite, Centurion: Unit 10, Manhattan Office Park, 16 Pieter Street, Highveld Techno Park, Centurion. Collection times confirmed on order.
  • Ownership of the rolls passes to you on payment; risk passes on delivery to the address you gave, or on collection.
  • Please check the rolls on delivery and report damage within 48 hours as set out in the returns policy.

6. Returns and refunds

Returns, cancellations and refunds are governed by our returns and cancellation policy, which allows returns of unopened rolls within 14 days of delivery or collection.

7. Product information

Technical parameters are those published on the Vulcanite Armor datasheet. Each grade carries a hot-surface rating (650°C, 700°C or 750°C); it is your responsibility to select the grade and thickness for your application, and to install the blanket in line with good practice. If you are unsure, ask us before you order.

8. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa, and the South African courts have jurisdiction over any dispute. Nothing in these terms limits your rights under the Consumer Protection Act or the Electronic Communications and Transactions Act.
