What is the difference between the classification temperature and the working temperature?
The datasheet lists a classification temperature of 1260°C and a working temperature of 1050°C. Specify against the working temperature, 1050°C.
What sizes does ProTherm come in?
We stock one size: 96 kg/m³ at 610mm wide and 25mm thick, in 7,32m rolls. The manufacturer datasheet also lists a 50mm blanket, which we do not hold in stock. Email us for a quote on it.
How does ProTherm differ from the Armor rock wool blanket?
ProTherm is an aluminium silicate ceramic fibre blanket with a working temperature of 1050°C. Vulcanite Armor is a wire mesh stitched rock wool blanket rated up to 750°C. The material and the temperature band are different.
